CHANGES TO THE WEEKEND HERALD

The Weekend Herald will be making some changes to meet increased demand for a number of its environments.

Advertisers are looking for additional space in Section A, Review and Timeout, so reconfiguring the presses to enable us to meet this need is core.

Section A leads the book at 32 pages, supported by B led by Review, TimeOut as an 8 page lift out, Arts and Sport coming in from the back.

Section C will continue to be fronted by Business and include HeraldJobs, Classified, Marine and Family Notices. The balance of the paper will remain in its current format.

For more detail around advertising opportunities please speak to your NAB account manager.

FROM LUNCH TO BRUNCH ... IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE!

As of 17th of October 2009 the Manawatu Standard will be bringing its Weekend edition to you earlier.

The current Weekend edition arrives into town and is being circulated into shops and home delivered to subscribers from midday. The earlier arrival time will mean the paper arrives in town from 9am, and circulates earlier.

What does this mean to you as a valued advertiser?
o The paper is being brought to you earlier giving you more time to read the paper.
o The Weekend Standard edition has a longer shelf life and there is more opportunity for the casual buyer to purchase the paper, resulting in more people reading your ads.
o Regular weekend advertising has a longer life.
o Advertising rates and existing booking deadlines stay the same!

Celebrate with us! Call 3569009 or talk to your regular advertising consultant about opportunities to advertise and celebrate the launch.
